Shayer Rahman is an Architectural Designer currently living in the greater Los Angeles area and working as a Computational Design Specialist at CANNONDESIGN. His design and research interests extend within the domain of experimental, conceptual and theoretical exploration of architectural and urban systems with robust attempt of practical implementation and evaluation. His works engage the processes of form-finding, generative, parametric, and computational methods.

Prior to joining CANNONDESIGN, Shayer has worked on numerous national and international prominent projects where he incorporated and lead the process of design computational methods. He was the lead author of the Google Headquarters-Bay View Campus’s parametric model. He was one of the design team members of the2019 Aga Khan award-winning project “The Amphibious Modulus, The Floating School” at Saif Ul Haque Sthapati (SHS) in 2012-2013.
